The german tanks generally have good guns, but their armor can't take hits. The KV-1 for instance is an absolute monster in its tier. At lower tiers the earlier PZ IIIs are legit though. Its 50MM gun shooting at those same KV weak spots is completely unreliable, even if I load up APCR. Good flankers and if you have solid shots into the rear turrets of KV-1s and KV-2s, it's pretty easy to knock them out via ammo explosions. Still, after weeks of driving in PZ-4s and going "Oh SHIT! There's a KV-2!" it was nice to see the Russians having that response to me.
The matches after that were respectable, if not glorious. Sat there repairing and bouncing shots until another T-34-85 decided to flank and spank. BOOM! You got wrecked SON!!! Then some jerk thought it'd be awesome to shoot me in the turret ring. BOOOM! Eat it!! Then an IS2 tried to sneak in around me from the right. 2nd shot on T-34-85, BOOOM! You DEAD SON!! Then a KV-1 Z5 rolled in alongside the T-34. My first match on the dutch map I'm in the city waiting patiently at Cap A when a wild T-34-85 appears.
Finally reached the Tiger 1 (H) last night.
